³There are many Chaplin imitators. Peter Mim however plays the role of the comedian legend with more than a mere properly rehearsed imitation. When Mim shuffles across the stage at the Raschplatz-Pavillon as Charlie Chaplin, saucily swings his tiny walking stick and rolls with his round coal eyes, he makes the silent movie hero come alive again. The pantomime removes his make-up on stage, gets rid of the black wig and he himself bows to the hat, stick and the clumsy shoes. A sympathetic gesture which makes him earn more Bravo calls from the enthusiastic audience."
