Black And White

is a new program from the various fascinating pallet of the pantomime art of Peter Mim.

A white painted face, the black framed eyes and expressionistic eyebrows - this classical conception of the mask of a pantomime applies in this case.
With simple make-up and a smart stage costume in black and white Peter Mim perfectly corresponds to this almost stereotyped conception, and not without reason: Black and White, two opposites, two contrasts, two extremes.
Because the criticism and irony wordlessly expressed by the pantomime polarises and stresses the contrasts intendedly and skilfully, sharply, exaggeratedly and without compromises.
In addition, white and black are bad and good, happy and sad, lively and melancholic...

The picture sequence of the evening is a dynamic row of etudes - that is concert-like, visual theatre interlaced with much light design, music and own dramaturgy - views of the comprehensive mime vocabulary, which Peter Mim masters convincingly and with perfection.

Peter Mim's art is something special: Quietly, but categorically, it represents an animated collage of masterfully selected scenes, which cast a spell, imaginative and grotesque, aesthetic, thoughtful, rhythmical and poetical, sensitive and philosophical.

The mime protagonist always has something to tell - his messages are inaudible for the public, but understandable, wordless, but eloquent and sensuous.
Owing to the universal language of this pictoral representation art, Peter Mim inspires the public world-wide.

The program is musically accentuated with themes from compositions by Britten, Schumann, Grieg, Tschaikowsky, Ravel, Morricone and George Winston.

The conception consists of 2 parts of approx. 45 minutes and is suitable for an audience aged from 9 to 99.
